Visitor statistics
StudyKernel counts course clicks, page views and study activity to improve the site and understand which courses people find useful. Counts stay on our own server; there are no advertising pixels or session recordings.
Aggregate activity can be counted without a browser identifier. If you allow unique counts, we create a random first-party browser cookie and keep a tab session identifier in session storage. We save only salted hashes of those identifiers alongside daily activity, not names, email addresses, IP addresses, raw URLs, typed text, question answers or payment details.
Browser-level data and the preference last up to 90 days. Aggregate history lasts up to 365 days. You can change your choice below; choosing aggregate-only removes the browser cookie and tab identifier and stops linking future visits. Clearing cookies, using private browsing or a different device can count as a different browser.
We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control and skip known bots. Statistics may therefore undercount traffic. Existing account and subscription records can provide aggregate operational totals in the private owner report. Email-marketing consent is separate.
